Grace Harbour Apple Cobbler

This is a truly Canadian recipe made with hand picked crabapples, plums and berries from an abandoned homestead at Grace Harbour in Desolation Sound Marine Park made to an apple-berry cobbler. Crab apples are sour when eaten fresh, yet when baked, gives a sweet tangy taste. Easy to make, healthy and full of nutrients. Can be served warm with ice cream topping. This recipe was inspired during the summer of 2008 while cruising the BC Inside Passage to Alaska.
