Baptist Church Ladies Peanut Butter Squares
It’s Christmas time soon, and our church is having a Christmas Craft and Bake Sale to raise funds for our Youth Mission to South Africa.
So, I used a recipe from my Aunt who used to run the Black Cat Ranch in Hinton, Alberta. She got this recipe from the Canadian Baptist Church Ladies who always serve this recipe for after church snacks and coffee.
It is a very easy recipe to make, and the peanut butter marshmallows combination gave the dessert a very nice texture, smooth to the tongue.
Step 1: Melt the following in a heavy pot:
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup peanut butter
1-1/2 cup butterscotch chips
Step 2: Stir in
1-1/4 cup of Miniature marshmallows
Step 3: Pour into a greased 9 inch x 9 inch square pan. Store in refrigerator.
VOILA! It is done.

You can have many variations to this recipe:
(1) Use colored marshmallows (2) Add Coconut flakes (3) Add chocolate icing. Enjoy! I tried this recipe and I love it.

This is one of my favorite desserts anytime. Especially so during the holidays. Using pecans with or without the marshmallows is a great twist.
Be blessed!
