The Halifax Connector Program is one organization that recognizes the value of skilled immigrants.  For this reason, the program’s main goal to put newcomers to the city directly in touch with business owners and operators, managers, civil servants, community leaders.

Halifax needs people.  To address this pending labour shortage, the city needs to grow and one way to grow is to attract newcomers and make sure they decide to stay.

The Halifax Connector Program is a simple but effective referral process that puts newcomers in touch with local employers so they can build a solid network to join our workforce and settle successfully in the  community.  The common goal is to stimulate growth in Greater Halifax that will create opportunities for everyone.
